In the general range of graphic editors, Dynamic Draw stands out from the majority by offering a very useable and easy to understand utility for free (it also has various resources to help you, like tutorials), one which specializes in schematics, flow charts, organigrams, etc.

To work with the diagrams, Dynamic Draw offers a wide set of predefined formulas (speech bubbles, connecting arrows, rectangles, circles, etc), and it is possible to bring in other images from external sources. As you can imagine, it is also possible to edit the colour and appearance in general of each element, and also insert text.

But what makes Dynamic Draw truly special is its capacity to connect the elements in the schematic in an "intelligent" way, automatically keeping an aesthetic balance among the linked objects. It is also totally compatible with any OLE application, and can export the generated schematics to formats like JPG, TIFF, PNG, SVG, EMF, WMF, PSD or BMP.
